COVID Vaccine: IVF and Fertility

COVID Vaccine and IVF

Dr. Natalie Crawford, MD reviews the latest studies about the COVID vaccine and fertility treatments. Does the COVID vaccine hurt your fertility? Does the COVID vaccine impair ovarian function? Does the COVID vaccine hurt the placenta? Does the COVID vaccine impair implantation? Does the COVID vaccine and spike proteins antibodies cause failed implantation?

All studies done to date have shown no impact of the COVID vaccine on your fertility. No change in ovarian function, response to treatment, implantation, miscarriage, or pregnancy complications.

ASRM recommends that all people, regardless if trying to conceive or are in fertility treatments receive the COVID vaccine.
